This course is designed to give the chiropractor and chiropractic assistant who performs X-rays a clinical working knowledge of radiation safety and the latest procedures for x-ray examination of the spine and extremities of chiropractic patients.


This one day, 6 CE course is designed to give the chiropractor and ACRRT certified chiropractic x-ray assistant a clinical working knowledge of the latest procedures for x-ray safety and examination of the spine and extremities of the patient. Instruction of factors to utilize for protection of the patient and operator while producing x-rays of the patient will be presented. 

ATTENTION DCs! The first 4 hours of this course will provide you with PA DEP required  x-ray continuing education you need every 4 years, and will also count as 4 CE towards the 24 CE needed for license renewal!  (You may then leave at the noon lunch break if you so choose).

*The ACRRT Primer Course will be offered separate in an online format. Dr. Rizzo will also be offering a two Saturday, November 6th and November 13th (12 hour total) course, designed to give the chiropractor CA who desires to sit for the ACRRT test (offered every 3rd Saturday in May and November) a comprehensive look at the 5 topics of the ACRRT exam, specifically, x-ray:

 Principles of Radiographic Exposure



All 12 hours will focus on topics that will be covered in the ACRRT exam. Sample test questions will be given, as well as a designated Q&A time.
