Full-Time Associate Chiropractor Position 

Health Horizons is currently seeking a Full-Time Associate Chiropractor for our busy Oakmont, PA practice. Oakmont is a suburb 20 min NE of Pittsburgh, PA. We are looking for an upbeat, positive and caring person who has great interpersonal and communication skills to help us take care of existing patient referrals and grow our practice. A Day in the Life of an Associate Chiropractor

As an Associate Chiropractor, you provide excellent care for our patients in a warm and compassionate manner.  You perform initial new patient consultations, examinations and take x-rays, as indicated. You perform Report of Findings consultations to review the findings of the initial examination and x-rays and review treatment options.  You provide timely documentation of care in our ChiroTouch note taking system. You perform progress evaluations and educate Health Horizons’ patients on the importance of chiropractic care for them and their family. You attend bimonthly staff and/or doctors meetings to continually refine our practice procedures and grow as a team. 

Practice Description

-Family Wellness Practice (individual, family, prenatal, pediatric care)

-Subluxation Based Practice 

-Functional Nutrition/Nutrition Response Testing

-Low force, Instrument adjusting:  Activator, Arthrostim, drops, SOT, Nimmo, AK, Webster, No diversified. Primary owner also uses Atlas Orthogonal (AO not necessary for hire, but AO equipment is available, if desired). 

Salary and profit share:  $65,000 base salary or 35% of collections, whichever is greater.  Bonuses for new patient referrals. On board training is provided. Compensation during on boarding $1000/wk. Onboarding 1-3 months based on experience. New doctor onboard training may take 3-6 months.

Minimum time commitment: 2 years


-M, W, F - Full Day

-Alternating - T and Sat - Half Day

-2nd Sat of the month 12:30-3pm for Well Child Day

-Bimonthly T staff and/or doctors meetings  


-Pennsylvania Licensed Doctor of Chiropractic 

-PT Adjunctive procedures license 

-Passed all National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) exams 

-Interest in family wellness practice 

-Interest in low force adjusting techniques as we are not a diversified practice 

-Excellent bedside manner 

-Excellent communication skills

-ChiroTouch software proficiency a plus 

-Team player 

-Multi-tasking skills

-Detail oriented

-Caring and Compassionate
